I was only responsible for the second stage of this mission “Breezy Riders”-This mission saw players fight off enemies, while avoiding ninjas on gliders that would fly over from time-to-time.The evil heroes had access to the normal hero attacks, so a lot of balancing went into making them fun, but not overpowered. “Send in the Clonebots”- This mission has a series of mini-bosses that consist of groups of Marvel heroes, but the evil versions of them.
On top of the attacks, he also had a vulnerable state that was initiated by attacking his hand when it was down. He needed to be able to flap his wings, throwing debris at the players from behind him, as well as rain down acid breath from the sky. The boss fight against Fin Fan Foom required a lot of level logic. As each node burns, it grows in intensity, causing the fire to spread faster. The initial fire had a damage rate, and the adjacent nodes would slowly catch fire. The fire spreading mechanic was done via nodes that I placed in the level. There are also water barrels that act as a normal throwables, but would also put out the fire. They were set up to compliment the combat spaces, and allow players to utilize them to hurt the enemies by launching them into the fire. “Flame on! (And on, and on)”-The main mechanic in this level was the spreading pools of fire.“You Turned Off the Lights” –The light switch, when activated, would deal damage to all enemies in the level and give them a brief stun.The Amazing Society Role: Level Designer at The Amazing Society, a part Gazillion Entertainment Inc.
